In the studio with George Massenburg this past November.
Converse recently opened up a community based recording studio in Brooklyn, NY called Rubber Tracks. The idea is that bands apply to get time, time is given to those that are deemed most worthy. It’s a really cool concept that supports good music and independent artists who can’t afford time in an expensive studio. The facility looks incredible, and it seems they’ve really gone all out with gear and space. This video is a really cool time-lapse of the construction, and you get to see a lot of the spectacular gear they have. You can see some other cool videos from the studio on their website.
